Healthy NDC Scorecard

The Healthy NDC Scorecard evaluates national climate commitments (NDCs) based on climate ambition, health impacts, and governance. It categorizes outcomes ranging from 'Paris Agreement compliant' and 'Science aligned' to those that are 'Catastrophic for human health', specifically tracking temperature trajectories from 1.5°C to over 4°C.

• The scorecard assesses national climate commitments across six specific categories: health impacts, integrated governance, health sector actions, health co-benefits, economics and finance, and monitoring and implementation.
• The tool measures climate ambition against temperature thresholds, identifying commitments that are 'Science aligned' or 'Paris Agreement compliant', as well as those that would be 'Catastrophic for human health' if they lead to warming of 4°C or more.
