Green Bond Fact Sheet

Encevo SA issued a EUR250m green Schuldschein on 23-Oct-2018, the first and largest of its kind in Luxembourg for 2018. The funds are allocated to renewable energy (solar, hydro), grid infrastructure, smart metering, DGNB Gold certified buildings, and electric vehicle infrastructure.

• Encevo SA issued a green Schuldschein on 23-Oct-2018 with a total amount of EUR250m (USD289m) and a maturity date of 23-Oct-2033. This transaction marked the first time an issuer from Luxembourg issued a green Schuldschein and was the largest such issuance in 2018 up to the date of the report.
• The proceeds from the bond are designated for several categories of green projects, including renewable energy (specifically solar and hydro), electricity grid construction and efficiency improvements, smart metering, and transport initiatives involving electric and hybrid vehicles and charging stations. Additionally, funds will support green buildings that have achieved at least a DGNB Gold certification, specifically citing the Bové and Bettembourg projects.
• Encevo SA has committed to providing yearly reports on the allocation of proceeds and the impacts of the financed projects until full allocation is reached, after which reporting will occur in the event of material changes. These reports will be published on the issuer's website.
