Amid Climate Crisis, Will Governments Deliver Ambitious Climate Action in Madrid?

A statement by the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) outlining the critical requirements for COP-25 in Madrid to maintain credibility and effectiveness. • Effective climate responses at COP-25 require the integration of human rights, gender equality, and the rights of indigenous peoples, specifically through the Lima Work Programme on Gender and the Local Communities and Indigenous Peoples Platform.
