- Eskom asserts that Arnot's particulate emissions contribute very little to total ambient levels and that further reductions would not be meaningful. Arnot emits approximately 2,990 tons of particulates per annum, which is less than Camden's 4,164 tons per annum, and Arnot's stacks are higher (195 metres compared to Camden's 155 metres).
- For the financial year from April 2013 to March 2014, average particulate emissions from Arnot's North Stack were approximately 20 mg/Nm³ and from the South Stack were approximately 32 mg/Nm³.
