• The SC1 is required to conduct a review of emission standards for all sources every 5 years to identify technological improvements and determine if additional industry types or pollutants should be included.
• Monitoring requirements prioritize point sources (stacks and vents), with continuous emissions monitoring prescribed for larger sources of criteria pollutants and required in areas not complying with ambient air quality standards, particularly declared priority areas.
