Request for Proposal Development of a website for the Gender Equality in a Low Carbon World programme

This Request for Proposal (RFP), issued by the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) on 21 December 2021, seeks a qualified firm to design and build a website for the Gender Equality in a Low Carbon World (GLOW) programme. • While the initial site architecture will be in English, it must be built to allow for future expansion to full bilingual or trilingual functionality. Currently, downloadable resources must be available in and searchable by other languages, specifically French and Spanish.
• The website must meet at least level A of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), with elements of levels AA-AAA where reasonable, to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities.
• The project budget is capped at 105,000 South African Rand. The proposed timeline includes selection of a supplier in early February 2022, development in March 2022, and content population in April 2022.
