Direct access to the Adaptation Fund: Lessons from accrediting NIEs in Jamaica and Senegal

This case study examines the experiences of Jamaica and Senegal in accrediting National Implementing Entities (NIEs) to gain direct access to the Adaptation Fund, highlighting challenges in fiduciary management, institutional capacity, and the implications for future access to the Green Climate Fund.
