This 1999 consulting report by the IISD Business Trust, submitted to the Government of Canada, proposes a five-year engagement strategy to raise climate change awareness and motivate emissions reductions among Canadian youth aged 13 to 29. Moving beyond simple social marketing, the strategy emphasizes an 'engagement' model that positions youth as leaders and participants. It is structured around three interrelated streams: information and awareness campaigns, capacity building for youth, and community actions, with a strong emphasis on intergenerational and multisectoral collaboration.

The report summarizes the Advancing Natural Infrastructure Forum 2024, held in Calgary, Alberta, on February 21–22, 2024. Co-hosted by the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), the Natural Assets Initiative (NAI), and WaterSMART Solutions, the event brought together 106 participants to discuss the implementation, funding, and scaling of natural infrastructure across the Canadian Prairies to address water management and climate resilience.
