• NDC mitigation elements are integrated into a broader 'plan-implement-review cycle' through several linkages: common time frames define NDC periods; Article 6 cooperative implementation may affect NDC scope; the enhanced transparency framework uses indicators to track progress; and the global stocktake relies on CTU information to assess the aggregate effect of all NDCs without assessing individual countries.
