• There is a stark discrepancy between the disturbance zones predicted by state experts and those experienced by the reindeer herding district. State experts assumed a disturbance zone of 500 metres around the mine and 100 metres along the road, whereas the district experienced zones of up to 10 kilometres for the mine and 1.5 kilometres for the road.
