Call for Comments: Climate and Clean Air Responses to COVID-19

A statement by members of the Scientific Advisory Panel of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition and other experts urging that economic stimulus efforts for COVID-19 recovery be used to address integrated global challenges including climate change, air pollution, and sustainable development.

• The authors argue that the COVID-19 pandemic recovery period should be used to drive transformational change and must not hinder efforts to address ongoing global crises such as climate change, biodiversity loss, poor air quality, and unsustainable development.
• The authors emphasize that economic stimulus decisions will significantly impact global threats and advocate for an integrated approach that connects health, air pollution, climate, and the environment to find efficient, low-cost solutions that benefit both the economy and the environment.
