Health and Social Care Solutions

This policy brief by the Stockholm Environment Institute and the Nordic Council of Ministers describes a project titled "Bridging the Knowledge Gap between Distance Health & Social Care Solutions and Environmental Impacts: Via the Lens of SDGs." • Physical distance has historically hindered access to care for individuals in rural and sparsely populated areas, making healthcare more expensive, less timely, and more difficult to obtain; the coronavirus pandemic intensified these issues while simultaneously acting as a catalyst for testing tools to bridge these distances.
