Sustainable Management and Resilience of Arctic Wetlands

This report describes the first phase of an Arctic Council project led by the Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) Working Group. The project focuses on inventorying Arctic wetlands and reviewing scientific knowledge to support sustainable development and resilience in the circumpolar Arctic.

• The first phase of the project involved inventorying Arctic wetlands and reviewing scientific research to determine their importance for hydrology and biodiversity, as well as how climate change impacts their carbon storage capacity.
