Geography

This guide explains the use of the Geography variable within a software tool to allocate energy use and emissions across map squares based on specific geographic mappings and allocation functions.

• The Geography variable is used to allocate energy use and emissions at a specific branch among map squares within the shape of the current area for one region data sets, or among map squares of the shape for the current region in multi-region areas.
