Effective Geographically Balanced

The study evaluates 52 climate actions from the 2014 UN Climate Summit, finding that while overall output performance after one year exceeds expectations, there are significant disparities between action areas and a persistent implementation gap in developing countries.

• Output performance of the 52 climate actions after one year is higher than expected based on previous similar actions, though results vary by sector: energy and industry actions are performing above average, while resilience actions have not yet produced specific outputs.
• Despite many climate actions targeting low-income and lower-middle-income economies, a significant implementation gap persists between developed and developing countries, indicating a need for more efforts to benefit the most vulnerable populations.
