Bioenergy for Sustainable Development and International Competitiveness: The Role of Sugar Cane in Africa

The report examines the potential of sugar cane bioenergy to improve rural livelihoods, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and decrease fossil fuel imports in Southern and Eastern Africa.
