SEforALL Official Statement – Vienna, 24 November 2020

Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) announced on 24 November 2020 the rescheduling of the SEforALL Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, to early 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) has rescheduled the SEforALL Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, to early 2022 to ensure a full in-person experience, as the COVID-19 pandemic was expected to impact global events through much of 2021. This decision followed discussions with the Government of Rwanda, the SEforALL Administrative Board, and key partners.
• During 2021, SEforALL intends to drive action on Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) through the High-Level Dialogue on Energy and COP26. Additionally, the organization planned the launch of a global campaign and the first SEforALL Virtual Youth Summit for February 2021.
