Keeping safe, staying connected

SAIIA announced the closure of its Cape Town and Wits campus offices and the cancellation of public events starting March 2020 to slow the spread of COVID-19, shifting operations to remote work while maintaining stakeholder engagement via digital platforms.

• In response to the pandemic and a message from President Cyril Ramaphosa on 15 March 2020, SAIIA cancelled all public events and closed its offices on the Wits campus and in Cape Town, with staff transitioning to remote work.
