GadgetroniX – Kimarishe Serengeti water system (Tanzania)

This case study describes the design and installation of a nano filtration (NF) water treatment system at Kimarishe Serengeti Lodge in Tanzania to address contaminants like fluorides and microbial impurities in a remote environment.

• GadgetroniX implemented a high-performance nano filtration (NF) system at Kimarishe Serengeti Lodge that produces 3,000 litres of purified water per hour and includes advanced fluoride removal and multi-stage filtration.
• The water treatment system was designed to overcome challenges in the Serengeti where remote lodges face issues with naturally occurring contaminants, specifically sediments, microbial impurities, and fluorides.
• The installed system consists of several components, including a Feed Booster Pump, Chlorine Dosing System, Multimedia Filtration System, Activated Carbon Filter, Antiscalant Dosing System, SMBS & Acid Dosing System, Fine Micron Cartridge Filter, High-Pressure Grundfos Pump, Nano Filtration (NF) Membrane System, and a CIP (Clean-in-Place) System.
