Upya Technologies – Digitalising field operations with workflow automation (Nigeria & Cote d’Ivoire)

This case study describes how Lumos, a solar energy provider in West Africa, partnered with Upya Technologies starting in 2023 to digitise field operations and automate workflows using a no-code platform to overcome the rigidity and cost of previous IT systems.

• Lumos implemented Upya's no-code workflow automation platform to address fragmented processes in customer onboarding, inventory management, and after-sales support that had occurred as the company scaled in Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire.
• The digitalisation project has resulted in several operational improvements, including enhanced efficiency across 55 warehouses and logistics teams, streamlined customer onboarding, and a decreased dependency on expensive proprietary IT infrastructure.
