COVID-19 Letter to the communities we work with, partners, alliances and supporters

A statement from Natural Justice outlining operational safety measures and organizational commitments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Natural Justice implemented several staff safety measures in response to government restrictions, including prohibiting all travel outside of their respective countries, discouraging in-country travel, and transitioning staff to work from home. The organization also encouraged online meetings over in-person ones and established a process to assess whether upcoming events should be continued online, postponed, or cancelled.
• The organization maintains that its work must continue despite severe restrictions because commitments to the communities it supports remain a priority. Natural Justice acknowledges that some communities may lack proper access to water and the ability to self-isolate, and it views the pandemic as an opportunity to highlight injustices such as access to healthcare within the broader context of the climate emergency and planetary crisis.
