• To manage e-waste, the report suggests a national strategy to clarify the responsibilities of manufacturers, importers, and consumers, the creation of a public database for e-waste tracking, and the implementation of a quality assurance plan for disposal licenses.
• On an international level, China is urged to collaborate with the UNEP and the Basel Convention Secretariat to establish global standards for hazardous e-waste transfer and to participate in corporate partnerships like the Mobile Phone Partnership Initiative (MPPI).
