Practice Guide to Auditing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Gender equality

The Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation, in collaboration with the International Institute for Sustainable Development and Women Deliver, developed a practice guide to assist auditors in planning performance audits focused on gender equality within the framework of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

• The Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation created its first methodology focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to support auditors in planning performance audits specifically regarding gender equality under the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
• The guide was produced through a collaboration between the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation, the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), and Women Deliver, with financial support from Global Affairs Canada via the Foundation’s International Legislative Oversight Program.
