Tackling Fossil Fuel Subsidies and Climate Change: Levelling the energy playing field

A report by IISD and the Nordic Council of Ministers finds that removing fossil fuel subsidies in 20 countries could reduce national emissions by an average of 11% by 2020, increasing to 18% if 30% of savings are reinvested in renewable energy and efficiency.
