Finance for National Adaptation Plan Processes

The report analyzes 59 multi-sector national adaptation plan (NAP) documents from developing countries to examine how they address adaptation finance. It emphasizes that sufficient finance from diverse sources, which does not increase debt burdens, is a critical enabling factor for inclusive and effective NAP processes. The review aims to highlight good practices and areas for improvement to better support countries in identifying, prioritizing, and mobilizing the necessary adaptation finance.
