Decisiones de la 28a Reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes del Instituto Interamericano para la Investigación del Cambio Global

The 28th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research approved the operating budgets for 2020-2021 and 2021-2023, as well as the auditors' report. The meeting established a requirement for annual performance evaluations of the Executive Director and mandated the development of a whistleblower mechanism in the employee manual and gender policies for projects. Additionally, the Conference invited Mitacs in Canada to become an associate of the Institute.

• The Conference of the Parties approved the Operating Budget for the 2020-2021 fiscal year and the preliminary budget request for the 2021-2023 fiscal years.
• The Executive Council was instructed to conduct annual performance evaluations of the Executive Director, and the Executive Directorate was tasked with updating the employee manual to include a reporting mechanism and creating gender policies for IAI activities.
• The Conference of the Parties formally invited Mitacs, based in Canada, to become an associate of the Institute and directed the Executive Directorate to prepare a Partnership Agreement.
