Report from Ad hoc Committee on the Implementation of the IAI Tripartite Governance

The report confirms the renewal of the IAI Implementation Committee's term and provides updates on the operational status of the Montevideo office and the Science-Policy liaison office in Buenos Aires, as well as ongoing discussions regarding the Science Development Directorate in Brazil.

• The 24th Conference of the Parties (CoP) in Santiago renewed the term of the Implementation Committee for the Tripartite Structure of the IAI until the next CoP, maintaining its membership consisting of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, USA, and Uruguay.
• The IAI's Montevideo office is operational, with two assistants provided by the Uruguayan government. Additionally, a director was hired for the Science-Policy liaison office in Buenos Aires as of May 2015, although some host country agreement commitments remain under development due to a change in government.
• The IAI is collaborating with the representative from Brazil to explore a workable solution for the Science Development Directorate in Brazil to leverage the country's science leadership and excellence.
