TWENTY-SECOND CONFERENCE OF THE PARTIES (CoP) OF THE IAI

The Twenty-Second Conference of the Parties (CoP) of the IAI, held in Mexico City in August 2014, approved the Core Budget Request, Country Contributions, and Annual Program for FY 2014-2015. The CoP elected nine member countries to the Executive Council for two years and resolved to invite FAPESP to become an Associate of the Institute.

• The Conference of the Parties approved three primary financial and operational items for the 2014-2015 fiscal year: the Core Budget Request, the proposed level of Country Contributions, and the Annual Program.
• The CoP elected members of the Executive Council (EC) for a two-year term by consensus, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and the USA.
• The Conference of the Parties resolved to invite FAPESP to become an Associate of the Institute and authorized the Executive Director to conclude an Agreement of Association.
