SEVENTEENTH MEETING OF THE IAI CONFERENCE OF THE PARTIES (CoP)

The seventeenth meeting of the IAI Conference of the Parties (CoP), held on 9-10 June 2010 in Brasilia, Brazil, resulted in the adoption of five resolutions concerning budget, programming, and leadership appointments.

• The CoP adopted three resolutions regarding financial and operational planning for the 2010-2011 fiscal year, specifically approving the Core Budget Request, the level of Country Contributions, and the Annual Program.
• The CoP elected five individuals to serve as members of the Scientific Advisory Committee: Carolina Vera, Claudia Natenzon, Ramon Pichs, Silvio Pantoja, and Harold Mooney.
• The CoP elected members of the Executive Council (EC) for a two-year term, consisting of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Paraguay, and the USA.
