A notification from the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research regarding the nomination and election process for the post of IAI Executive Director.

• According to Rule 86 of the Standing rules of the Conference of the Parties (CoP), Parties are required to nominate candidates for the post of Executive Director forty-five days before the election date via communication to the Executive Director.
• The election of the IAI Executive Director is scheduled for 18 April 2023 during the 2023 Extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties, where the Chair of the Selection Committee will present the selection process and a recommendation for the post.
