A notification from the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) requesting that Focal Points from IAI Parties complete an online survey for a Regional Assessment by April 14, 2022.

• The IAI Executive Directorate is conducting a Regional Assessment, as mandated by Decision XXIX/16 from the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) in 2021. The data gathered from this first assessment is intended to help the IAI understand the needs of its Parties, inform short-term priorities, and facilitate collaboration between Parties.
• Focal Points for each IAI Party are required to complete the online survey by April 14, 2022. These Focal Points may delegate the task or share the survey with other government branches and are encouraged to seek advice from their national Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) and Science and Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC) members.
• Following the compilation of survey data, the IAI Executive Directorate plans to hold virtual subregional exchange sessions with the Focal Points.
