N O T I F I C A T I O N

The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) has issued a notification to its Parties regarding an online survey for a Regional Assessment, as mandated by Decision XXIX/16 of the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-29).

• The IAI Directorate is conducting a Regional Assessment via an online survey to understand the needs of Parties, inform near-term priorities, and facilitate collaboration. This action follows Decision XXIX/16 from the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) held via videoconference in 2021.
• IAI Focal Points from each Party are requested to complete the survey by 14 April 2022. They may delegate the task, share it with other government branches, or consult members of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) and the Science-Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC) from their respective countries.
• Following the compilation of survey data, the IAI Directorate intends to organize sub-regional virtual listening sessions to follow up with Focal Points.
