A notification from the Executive Director of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) announcing the availability of preliminary reports from the 29th Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) and the 51st Executive Council (CE-51) for review and comment.

• The preliminary reports for the 29th Conference of the Parties (CoP-29), held via videoconference, and the 51st meeting of the Executive Council (CE-51) have been published on the IAI website for participant review.
• The CoP-29 preliminary report is divided into two sections: Section I, which summarizes procedures, and Section II, which contains 17 decisions adopted by the Parties.
• Participants of CoP-29 are requested to submit comments on the meeting report by September 12, 2021, in accordance with Article 95 of the Conference of the Parties Regulations.
• While Article 63 of the Executive Council Regulations does not specify a deadline for observations, the IAI Executive Directorate requests that representatives of CE-51 submit comments preferably 90 days before the 30th Conference of the Parties to allow for final editing and translation.
• The IAI acknowledges Argentina for providing interpretation services and the United States of America for providing videoconferencing facilities during the meeting.
