The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) has announced the availability of official documentation for the 28th Conference of the Parties (CoP-28) and the 49th and 50th meetings of the Executive Council on its website.

• Official documentation for the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-28), conducted via videoconference, and the 49th and 50th meetings of the Executive Council has been published on the IAI website. The Executive Directorate noted that this documentation was made available after the deadline specified in Rule 16 of the Regulations due to obstacles caused by the arrival of Covid-19.
• The IAI Executive Directorate reported that no comments were received following a notification sent on July 17, 2019, which requested feedback on the draft report of CoP-27 prior to the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
• CoP-28 will be conducted via the Zoom videoconferencing system. Due to exceptional circumstances, the IAI Executive Directorate will accept an email from the competent national authority nominating a delegation as sufficient documentation for the accreditation required to vote.
