The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) issued a notification requesting that National Focal Points update their contact information by February 27, 2020, to facilitate the sending of invitations for the 28th Conference of the Parties (CoP-28) and other executive meetings scheduled for June 2020 in Asunción, Paraguay.

• The 28th Conference of the Parties (CoP-28), the 49th (EC-49) and 50th (EC-50) meetings of the IAI Executive Council, and the 4th Joint Meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee and the Science and Policy Advisory Committee (SAC/SPAC) are scheduled to take place in Asunción, Paraguay, from June 1 to 5, 2020.
• The IAI Executive Directorate is seeking independent external funding, separate from the IAI's operating budget, to support the participation of delegates from developing countries in CoP-28.
• National Focal Points are requested to verify and update their representative information via the IAI website or an attached list, submitting changes to Soledad Noya by February 27, 2020.
