N O T I F I C A T I O N

A notification from the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) confirming that scheduled meetings in Guatemala, including the 26th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-26), will proceed as planned following a volcanic eruption on 3 June 2018.

• The IAI Directorate confirmed that delegates, observers, and members of the Science Advisory Committee (SAC) and Science Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC) should proceed with preparations to attend the Joint meeting of the SAC and SPAC, EC-45, EC-46, and CoP-26 in Antigua, Guatemala, after being informed by government authorities that the situation following a volcanic eruption has stabilized.
• The notification was prompted by a volcanic eruption that occurred on 3 June 2018, approximately 48 kilometers from Guatemala City, Guatemala.
