The Executive Directorate of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) is inviting member Parties to nominate qualified representatives for the Financial and Administrative Committee (FAC) by April 15, 2018.

• Following Decision XXV/20 from the 25th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP), the IAI Executive Directorate is seeking additional members for the Financial and Administrative Committee (FAC). The FAC's mission is to act on behalf of the Executive Council regarding the planning, preparation, and implementation of financial, administrative, and project management matters for the IAI.
• Nominations for the FAC must be submitted via email to the IAI Executive Directorate by April 15, 2018. Preferred candidates should have 10 years of experience in financial and administrative areas, and knowledge of international organization procedures is welcomed. The Executive Council and Executive Director will evaluate nominations to provide the CoP with a shortlist of five preselected candidates.
• FAC membership is open to all IAI Parties for a two-year term, with the IAI Director of Finance and Administration serving as an ex-officio member. The FAC operates as a subcommittee of the Executive Council, primarily conducting activities via email, videoconference, or telephone; however, if in-person meetings occur, represented Parties are expected to contribute to the participation costs.
