INFORMACIÓN LOGÍSTICA

This document provides logistical information for participants attending the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP-30) and the 53rd meeting of the Executive Council of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held on June 14 and 15, 2022, in Montevideo, Uruguay.

• The COP-30 and the 53rd meeting of the IAI Executive Council took place on June 14 and 15, 2022, at the Hotel Hyatt Centric in Montevideo, Uruguay.
• Meetings were conducted in English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation services provided.
• Travelers arriving via Carrasco Airport in Canelones were advised to use Taxi Aeropuerto, as Uber is not permitted to enter the airport; the estimated taxi fare to the Hotel Hyatt is 40 USD.
• COVID-19 entry requirements for foreign citizens varied by vaccination status: fully vaccinated individuals required a vaccination certificate and health coverage; those who recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days required a positive PCR-RT or antigen test; and unvaccinated individuals required a negative SARS-CoV-2 test taken within 72 hours of travel.
• Local technical and financial specifications for Uruguay include a voltage of 220V (50Hz frequency) and the official currency, the Uruguayan Peso (UYU), with an exchange rate of 1.00 USD = 40.10 UYU at the time of publication.
