• The CoP authorized the IAI Executive Directorate to pursue a consortium agreement with UNESCO and ICSU-ROLAC, and approved the participation of the IAI Executive Directorate and the SAC in the Future Earth initiative.
• The CoP renewed the term of the IAI Tripartite Structure Implementation Commission until the next CoP. The commission's composition includes Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador (Vice President), the USA (President), and Uruguay.
