Decimoséptima reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes (CoP) del IAI

This document records the decisions made during the seventeenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP) of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held in Brasilia, Brazil, on June 9-10, 2010.

• The CoP established its leadership for the seventeenth meeting, appointing Maria Virginia Alves of Brazil as President, Paul Filmer of the USA as First Vice President, and Carlos Ereño of Argentina as Second Vice President.
• The CoP approved several financial and operational documents, including the auditor's report for fiscal years ending June 30, 2008 and 2009, the 2009-2010 Financial Statement, the 2010-2011 Operating Budget, the 2010-2011 Country Contributions level, and the 2010-2011 Annual Plan.
• The CoP appointed Carolina Vera, Claudia Natenzon, Ramon Pichs, Silvio Pantoja, and Harold Mooney to the Scientific Advisory Committee and selected Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Paraguay, and the USA as Executive Committee members for the following two years.
