Decimoquinta reunión de la Conferencia de las Partes (CoP) del IAI

• The CoP initiated a full review of the regulations for the Executive Committee (CE) and the CoP. It invited Member States to nominate members for the Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures (SCRP) to assist in this reformulation, with a suggestion that the committee consist of five members, including a Latin American legal expert on international organizations and an English native speaker.
• The CoP approved the Annual Program, the Operating Budget, and Country Contributions for the 2008-2009 Fiscal Year, and accepted the Auditors' Report as of June 30, 2007.
• The CoP elected members of the Executive Committee (CE) for the following two years: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, United States, Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela.
