Review of Decisions related to the Core Budget adopted at the 31st meeting of the Conference of the Parties

This briefing from the IAI Directorate to the Executive Council reviews decisions regarding the Core Budget adopted during the 31st meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-31).

• The Conference of the Parties (CoP-31) approved the Core Budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year and the preliminary budget request for the 2024-2026 fiscal years under Decision XXXI/3.
• The IAI Directorate is tasked with informing the Financial and Administrative Committee (FAC) and the Executive Council Chair regarding the status of country contributions and any extraordinary or unexpected expenses that could affect the core budget.
