Decisiones y acciones del CE-XLIII

This briefing outlines the decisions and actions taken during the 43rd Executive Council (CE) meeting of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held on June 12, 2017, in Bogotá, Colombia.

• The Executive Council (CE) established commissions to recommend candidates for two advisory bodies: the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC), comprising Brazil, the United States, and Paraguay, and the Science and Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC), comprising Chile, Colombia, and the United States.

• The CE recommended that CoP representatives contact national funding agencies to participate in the 'Belmont Forum Americas Information Days' scheduled for the first week of November 2017 in São Paulo, Brazil.
