• The IAI has secured additional funding from the MacArthur Foundation (US$ 450,000 for 2008-2009) to evaluate climate change impacts on biodiversity in the Andean region of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Additionally, a project funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada for CAD 444,000 is focusing on land-use change in the La Plata basin.
