REPORT OF THE IAI EXECUTIVE COUNCIL BUREAU

• The Executive Council (EC) Bureau experienced leadership changes: Dr. Maria Assunão Dias of Brazil resigned as Chair and Representative on December 18, 2007, and Dr. Paulo Manso of Costa Rica left his government post for the private sector. Because Bureau positions are assigned to individuals rather than countries, no immediate replacements were possible; a new EC and Bureau are to be elected by CoP-15.
