As of June 30, 2005, the IAI had a CRN I payable of US$ 836,786.
• The IAI manages several other scientific programs funded by the NSF, including the Initial Science Program (ISP) round III (total award of US$ 1,878,984), the Program to Expand Scientific Capacity in the Americas (PESCA) (grant of US$ 300,000), the Small Grant Program (SGP) (grant of US$ 360,000), and the Small Grant Program II (SGP II) (total awards of US$ 640,000).
• The IAI receives voluntary contributions from member nations for its core budget, totaling US$ 945,000 requested for FY 04/05. However, significant unpaid contributions remain, with the highest outstanding amounts from the USA (US$ 227,963), Venezuela (US$ 159,329), and Argentina (US$ 125,025) as of June 30, 2005.
• On September 30, 2005, the NSF approved the 'Second Round of the Collaborative Research Network - CRN II', with a total contribution of US$ 10,423,946 over six years. The first year's funds (2005/2006) amounting to US$ 2,197,289 became available on September 15, 2005.
