Informe de la Vigésimo Primera Reunión del Consejo Ejecutivo del IAI (CE)

• The new Executive Director, Dr. Holm Tiessen, emphasized the need to move beyond scientific excellence to focus on networking, interdisciplinarity (specifically bridging social and natural sciences), and regional integration to ensure research is applicable to policy-makers.
• The Institute's basic budget is heavily dependent on a small number of contributors, with the three largest contributors paying 79% of the Basic Budget, the next four paying 15%, and the remaining 12 countries covering 6%.
