• The IAI establishes specific voting requirements: general decisions are made by a majority of accredited Parties present, while the removal of the Executive Director or the reconsideration of a CoP decision requires a two-thirds majority vote.
• The election of members for the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) and the Science and Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC) must prioritize equitable geographic and gender distribution, as well as representation from various global change research disciplines.
