Presentation on vision by the incoming Executive Director

This briefing document notifies the Conference of the Parties that Dr. Anna Stewart Ibarra was elected as the Executive Director of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) and will present her vision and priorities at the 31st meeting of the Conference of the Parties.

• Dr. Anna Stewart Ibarra was elected as the Executive Director of the IAI during the 2023 Extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties and officially assumed the role on 1 June 2023.
• Dr. Anna Stewart Ibarra is scheduled to deliver an oral presentation regarding her vision and priorities for action during her mandate at the 31st meeting of the Conference of the Parties in Panama City in 2023.
