This report from the Executive Council (EC) of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) outlines the council's activities between sessions and presents recommendations for approval by the 29th Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) in June 2021. • Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the IAI Executive Directorate's physical office remained closed at the time of the report, with staff working from home. Consequently, the Executive Council's Rules of Procedure were revised to accommodate the necessity of virtual meetings.
